Saline River | Arkansas Nature Photography

About a week ago my father-in-law told me of this place that was pretty close to home but was still supposed to get pitch black (normally, for astrophotography, I have to drive about two hours away to get into the Ozarks where light pollution is at a minimum).  So we went out on a Sunday evening to find this place and wait for it to get dark.  The funny thing was that, while there was still a pretty good amount of light pollution because we were so close to Little Rock, Benton, and Bryant, the view of the river at dusk was beautiful!
